Tasty Trucks

Have you seen the Tasty Truck Sale-a-bration stamp set?  It is so fun!  I thought I would share a few swaps I received using this set. Look at all the cute images you get with this set:
You can make it a birthday truck with cupcakes or ice cream or a hot dog truck
or even a taco truck. So many options!
I received this in a swap but I don't have the name
of the stamper. I love the brick embossing in the background

This card came from Tina Rappe. The striped paper is
perfect!

This one was made by Miriam Permut. The cupcakes have
Wink of Stella on the icing.  That stuff is magical!

I made this card. I used Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo.
The dark pink on the truck was colored with the new colored pencils
and then I used a blender pen on it. This set is perfect for coloring
with those new pencils!

This came from Janet Angi. The doily looks great behind the truck
and check out the cute enamel shapes on the sentiment.

Have you been inspired by these cards?  Would you like to get this set absolutely free?  You can by placing a $50 order. Contact me today and you can start creating Tasty Truck cards soon.

Hey chick!

Have you seen the Sale-a-bration set called Hey Chick?   It is a very popular one!  I thought I would share a few swaps I've received using it.

I don't have the name of the stamper that created this swap.
It is using some of the Succulent Garden Designer Series paper - beautiful!

This one is from Hattie Walker. I love how
she used both the wood grain background stamp
and the wood grain embossing folder -great texture!

I don't have the name of this stamper either. This card
uses Falling in Love Designer Series Paper. This
paper is so beautiful and as you can see - very versatile.

I created this card while trying to come up with some swaps.
It uses the Playful Backgrounds stamp set from the
Annual Catalog. I used Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum -
2 of the latest In Colors. It also uses the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies
which are available again.

This card came from Lisa Marie Smith. Love the
washi tape under the sentiment - it's from the
Playful Palette set.

This one is from Selene Kempton. You can't tell from the picture, but the chick
is covered with Wink of Stella - gorgeous!
And I love the ribbon - another free Sale-a-bration item

Have you fallen in love with this chick set? It does come with 2 other chickens and a cute egg.
You can get this set absolutely free!
For every $50 you spend - either from the new Occasions catalog or
the Annual catalog - you get to pick out one Sale-a-bration item free!

Let me know if you would like to place an order and get free stuff!

Team Occasion Swaps #1

On the way home from the last On Stage (Stampin' Up convention) some of my demo friends had a great idea.  We would divide up the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs and make samples from almost every page. It was sometimes a challenge to figure out exactly what was used on the card! We each ended up with 8 projects to make (6 of each).  That was a lot of stamping & assembling!  But it was so fun and challenging!  We each ended up with something we probably wouldn't have tried.  It's good to step out of our comfort zone sometimes.  We met up at a Starbucks to exchange everything.  Here's a picture of all of us:

And here are some of the cards I received:

Patience made this one. It uses the Easter Message
stamp set, the Very Vanilla satin ribbon and the Falling in Love
Designer Series Paper. Love that paper!

I think Elizabeth made this one. A great
masculine card using the Urban District
stamp set, Hexagons Dynamic Textured embossing folder
(which can also be used for chicken wire) and the Urban
Underground washi tape. I love how little bits are colored!

Kay made this card. Lots of details to it and it
is gorgeous! It's made with the Big on Birthdays stamp set.
Lots of big birthday images. Great for a quick card (not this example) - just
add some Designer Series paper and a few embellishments

Patience made this card.  What a fun set this Cake Crazy is!
There are so many options for stacking up the different layers.
It's going on my must have list!

These are just a few of the ones I received. Which is your favorite?

Stay tuned, I'll be sharing more in the next post!

We've decided to do the same thing for the Annual Catalog.  But we won't be dividing up the whole catalog!  I'd have to rob a bank to fund that!

I just signed up for the On Stage event in Shreveport in April.  We'll get our hands on the brand new Annual Catalog then!   Would you like to join us and be among the first to see all the new, fun products?   This is a great time to get a Starter Kit.  You get the normal $125 worth of product for $99.  But during Sale-a-bration there's a bonus.  You get to pick 2 stamps absolutely free!  Any stamp set!

It's Sale-a-bration Time!

The new Occasions catalog is out and it's Sale-a-bration time! Time to put away our Christmas sets and have fun with some brand new ones.  One of my favorites is the Dragonfly Dreams. There is a great thinlit set that goes with it.  Here are some of the cards I've made with it:
I copied this from Pinterest. The original was done by Leonie Schroder. It uses a masking technique so there's no stamping behind the dragonfly.  It also uses one of my favorite sets from the Annual Catalog - Timeless Textures. Don't you just love that detailed dragonfly thinlit!

This card I didn't make but received in a swap. The paper is from the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper set.  It is gorgeous, I'm going to have to get some soon! The lace at the top is from a Sale-a-bration set - Delicate Details.

This also uses another Sale-a-bration product - Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper.  It's coloring paper!  For this one I used a brayer to add color.  You can also color it with the new Watercolor Pencils or with markers.

This last card uses the cute small dragonflies thinlit. It's 5 dragonflies all connected together. For this card I die cut them, stamped on another piece of Whisper White behind them.  Then I just put them back in the hole I'd cut them out of - attaching them with dimensionals.

I hope you love this bundle as much as I do. The bundle costs $46.75 so if you get it and spend a few more dollars, you can get the coloring paper free!  Let me know if you are ready to order yours! Or maybe you have lots on your wish list - host a party and get some of it free.
