Magenta Madness Butterflies

I can not stop playing with this gorgeous butterfly set!  Tonight we made some bright magenta butterflies.

Dimensions:
Bermuda Base card base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2; scored at 4 1/4
Bermuda Bay DSP - 2 x 4
White - 4 x 4
2 1/4" punched white circle
Scrap of white to stamp and die cut butterflies

You can find the video demonstration of this card HERE

I used the Butterfly Bijou paper for the strip on the right.  That paper has SOLD OUT!  So sorry to see it go.  But you could substitute with any DSP that matches your card base.

These are the other cards we made in card class this week.  They all use the butterflies die cut out of the DSP, but you could substitute them with stamped & colored butterflies.  You can also replace the DSP on these cards. The Artistry Blooms paper has some nice background paper. The Flowers for Every Season paper would also be gorgeous with these butterflies.

Butterflies have arrived!  I love butterflies so I had to get this set as soon as it was available. The stamp is one big stamp and there is a die that will cut out all the stamped butterflies at once!  The Designer Series Paper is so gorgeous and there is some fun natural paper too.  Check out the link to my YouTube video below and I'll show you everything.  This is the card I made tonight on Facebook Live.

Calypso Coral card base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Soft Suede - 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
Natural Paper - 3 3/4 x 5
White - 5 x 6 - if stamping all the butterflies
Scrap of White for sentiment

A couple more cards that I shared on Facebook earlier this week.

This everything that is available in the suite. The stamp set and dies will carry over to the next Annual Catalog.  However the Designer Series Paper and Natural Paper are only available while supplies last.  So don't delay if you want the paper!

Creative Stampers Tutorial Bundle Group Blog Hop: Hydrangea Haven card

This month on the Creative Stampers Blog Hop we are celebrating spring!  After the foot of snow we had here in Arkansas a couple weeks ago, I am ready for spring! I had fun playing with the Hydrangea Haven suite. For this card, I used some of the gorgeous Designer Series Paper and one of the small stamps. The strip of green is Shimmery White paper that I watercolored with Old Olive.  I colored the flowers with Rococo Rose and Old Olive blends.  I also colored crinkle white ribbon with Rococo Rose blends. I love that you can use blends to make any embellishment match your project! The pearls are the Pastel Pearls that go with this suite.

I wish the sparkle showed up better in photos.  I used Wink of Stella on the flowers after coloring them. Add the Shimmery White paper to that and you get lots of sparkle!

Want to see more spring projects? Here's a sneak peek of my project in the Creative Stampers Tutorial. You can get this tutorial by placing an order with me, purchasing it for $22 or for free by being a part of my team.
